Napster Varley is a male human who was introduced in A Darkling Plain. He was a merchant and the owner of the airship Humbug.
He was killed by his wife while he was fighting Hester Natsworthy.[1]

After the ship carrying Oenone Zero, Theo, and Rasputra was bombed by Cynthia Twite crashed in the desert; Varley bought Zero from Grandma Gravy to use as a bargaining chip against General Naga.
On Airhaven, he was shot and killed by his wife while fighting Hester Natsworthy.
