Palau Pinang was an island in Southeast Asia which was ruled by a Sultana. Prior to 1,007 TE, the Sultana allowed raft cities to refuel at the island. In retaliation, the Anti-Traction League dispatched their agent Anna Fang to assassinate her. During an ensuing confrontation, Anna broke the Sultana's neck. Her actions were regarded by Traction cities as an atrocity. Palau Pinang was presumably named for the real-life Pulau Pinang state of Malaysia.
