The Collector was a very old wandering Stalker that went from "city to city, settlement to settlement", murdering people and removing their right hands in order to replace the one it has lost. Finding each hand it tries unsuitable, it continues to harvest more. After it being on London for almost a fortnight, police sergeant Karl Anders found out about the murders and a detained Anna Fang, who was tracking the Collector in the hopes of controlling it, told him of the Collector. The Guild of Engineers also wished to control the Collector, and had let it roam free on the base tier of London to see how it reacted in such an environment. They deemed it uncontrollable, and attempted to kill it with anti-stalker guns to no avail. Sergeant Anders eventually killed it with a demolition charge Anna had brought along as a last resort.
