The Engineerium is a London location that was introduced in Mortal Engines. It is Engineer territory.

It was destroyed when the wreck of the 13th Floor Elevator crashed into London's Top Tier.[1]

Description[]

The Engineerium is a black, glass, claw-shaped building. Sunlight is kept at bay by black windows, and a cold, neon glow washes the metal walls, and the place smells like antiseptics.[2] It is big and bright, lit by hundreds of argon globes. Monorail cars take the Engineers around the building in a spiraling motion. It has chilly white, tubular corridors and hanging transparent, plastic curtains.[3]

The auditorium is immense and there is a metal stage in the middle of it.[3]

There is a balcony that juts out of the building's flank, high above Paternoster Square.[3]
