The Tin Book of Anchorage was a book that was introduced in Infernal Devices. It contained the codes to activate ODIN before it was burned in the Battle of Brighton.[1]
Description[]
The book is made out of a series of twenty rusty tin sheets measuring 6" x 8" (~15cm X ~20cm) and bound together by wire. On the cover is a roughly drawn eagle in a circle and worn illegible lettering, which is most likely the seal of the United States. The back cover has the coat of arms of Anchorage, and likely the entire American Empire, and the words Ex Libris Rasmussen on it.[2]
History[]
Pre-Series[]
The Tin book was originally based on documents given to Dolly Rasmussen, the first margravine of Anchorage's population, by a dying American seaman when the refugees encountered a wrecked submarine, after the city was vaporized in the Sixty Minute War after it broke out in 2116. Dolly was told to preserve the documents at all costs (likely for the purpose of protecting ODIN) and it was kept with the Rasmussen family until the paper collapsed, in which a copy was made on old stamped-out food tins due to the then scarcity of paper.

Infernal Devices[]
For many years the book gathered dust in Anchorage's palace library until Uncle and the Lost Boys found out about it. They manipulated Wren Natsworthy, the daughter of Tom and Hester Natsworthy, into stealing it for them. The book eventually fell into the hands of Nimrod Pennyroyal, the mayor of Brighton, only to be stolen again by the Green Storm during the their siege of Brighton. The Stalker Fang was able to memorize the book's contents before it was burned in her battle with Shrike.
