The Wheeled War was a 40-year-long conflict that happened from the years 480-520 TE during the Second Traction Boom and was triggered by the mobilisation of London by The Movement and the Battle of Three Dry Ships. In what was described as decades of violence, horror and misery and also known as the Forty Years War, the Traction City's waged war against each other by crushing and blowing up each other. The conflict lasted until the Zagwan Deluge of 509 TE, when they united to fight them off. A treaty was made known as the Diet of Ulp (where Ulp itself was eaten under this treaty), leading to the foundation of the code of Municipal Darwinism: cities would eat each other instead of attacking their populations, which most cities obeyed, excluding some cities such as Arkangel.
