Yasmina Rashid is a female human who was introduced in Mortal Engines. She was an Arabian privateer on the Zainab.
In the 2018 film, she was portrayed by Samoan New Zealand actress Frankie Adams.

Yasmina was a friend of Anna Fang. When they met up in Airhaven, they greeted each other before discussing MEDUSA together.
When Shrike entered the Gasbag and Gondola to kill Tom Natsworthy and Hester Shaw, Yasmina warned him that she would not let him hurt them. The Stalker then attacked her as well as Anna and the other aviators. Later when Tom asked Hester if she was dead, Hester said that she was likely to have survived, as Shrike did not extend his claws.

Yasmina was present in the prologue, telling her story to her comrades in the Gasbag and Gondola.
Film[]
Yasmina was first seen reporting on London's whereabouts to her allies in the Gasbag and Gondola. She managed to survive Shrike's siege on Airhaven, which was a distraction so he could hunt Hester.
In the finale, Yasmina committed suicide by crashing the Zanaib into one of London's gun turrets.
